Project call 2022

Program

The GR-Ex program supports development of innovative and collaborative scientific projects. The overall GR-Ex budget for the 2022 project call is 300 000. Collaborative projects are mandatory among GR-Ex partners.

Funding

  1. Research projects
  2. International visiting professor or researcher scholarship: € 2 500

Eligibility in compliance with new University of Paris policies

All GR-Ex partners and clinicians associated to the GR-Ex program are welcome to apply. Clinicians are required to team up with GR-Ex partners in order to propose a project.

  • The Principal Investigator (PI) must be a GR-Ex partner and must be affiliated to the University of Paris cité
  • GR-Ex collaborators that are not affiliated to the University of Paris must contribute to the project up to 10% of the total granted amount (exemple: for a € 30 000 project = € 27 000 from GR-Ex funds + € 3 000 from the collaborator)
  • Outside collaborators are not concerned by co-financing

Evaluation procedure

The members of the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) will make the initial evaluation of the projects. The GR-Ex Executive Committee (EC) will make their final decisions based on reviews and discussions with the SAB during the retreat schedules on October 2022.

The purpose of this project call is to finance innovative and pertinent scientific projects for both GR-Ex partners and associated-partners.  The overall GR-Ex budget for the 2013 project call is 250K € plus recruitments. Supplies, courses and support for research projects (mice engineering, genomic studies) are eligible for funding. Collaborative projects are mandatory among GR-Ex partners and/or collaborators.

Recruitments

2 graduate students (3 year scholarship), 2 post-doctorates (2 year contract) and 1 engineer for the “erythropoiesis platform” (2 year contract). We will also grant 1 junction fellowship for 6 months.

Selection of the project

The members of the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) will first evaluate the projects. The GR-Ex Executive Committee (EC) will make their final decisions based on the SAB recommendations and discussions during the GR-Ex EC meeting scheduled on March 7th and 8th 2013 in Paris, France.

All requests that do not fall into the annual call for proposals will be discussed among GR-Ex EC members.

All requests must be formally submitted in writing to the PM for review.

The EC will evaluate each request and decisions will be made on the basis of the scientific excellence and relevance of each proposal together with the budgetary allowance.
