FAQ

HOW SHOULD I MENTION THE LABEX GR-EX IN MY PUBLICATIONS?

GR-Ex Partners should mention the Labex GR-Ex in their author’s affiliations, in particular, for studies directly related to the GR-Ex program. It is mandatory, however, to mention the ANR reference number of the Labex GR-Ex fund in the Funding or Acknowledgment sections if:

  • The study is totally or partially funded by GR-Ex grants
  • Participants in the study are supported by a GR-Ex fellowship/scholarship

Please contact Barbara Andrzejewski, GR-Ex administrative assistant, with a proposed schedule or to define a suitable date for the EC to attend. Workshop schedule will be posted on the GR-Ex website calendar. All GR-Ex members are welcome to attend the scientific workshops pending registration via the GR-Ex website.

REQUESTS THAT DO NOT FALL INTO THE ANNUAL CALL FOR PROPOSALS

All requests that do not fall into the annual call for proposals will be discussed among GR-Ex EC members. All requests must be formally submitted in writing to Joël Veiga for review. The EC will evaluate each request and decisions will be made on the basis of the scientific excellence and relevance of each proposal together with the budgetary allowance.

HOW CAN I FUND GENOMIC STUDIES?

A special fund is dedicated to all genomic studies. Simply submit your project in writing to Olivier Hermine and Joël Veiga for review. The GR-Ex works preferentially with the Imagine Institute Genomic platform.

HOW DO I APPLY TO BE A GR-EX PARTNER?

Applicants should formally submit requests to the EC members for review. Applicants should provide a 2-page resume including the last 10 major publications, full research projects and letter of motivation. Upon evaluation, the EC will invite the applicant to an audition during the annual executive committee meeting with the Scientific Advisory Board (February/March of each year). The final decision will be made in accordance with the SAB’s recommendation. The ANR will then be notified for definitive acceptance.
